Abstract:
A work holder 31 is secured to a member 27 for rotation in abase 11 located in a machine by keys 18. An indexing disc 45, with evenly spaced peripheral slots, is secured to the member 27 by studs 44 and is locked by a slide 50 mounted in the base and engaging the slots A masking disc 73 with peripheral slots arranged for a particular sequence of operations is secured to the disc 45 by a pin 74 and cover plate 80 with slots of both discs in register. The slide 50 co-operates with both discs and locks the work holder' when the slots of disc 45 are unmasked by the slots of disc 73. The work holder is locked by a two-part brake 91. |
