Description: |
The combination tack hammer and puller was designed to affix and remove labels from wooden rail cars, and similar functions. The tack holder would enable reaching above the normal range of reach to set the tack, which could then be driven by the hammer poll. The spring works to open the jaws.
A known example is marked NELS LUND & CO. MINNEAPOLIS MINN, and is 7 1/2 inches long. |
