Patented in the U. S., patent #1,007,182.
Abstract:
A turret lathe in which a vertical turret 306, Fig. 1, is carried by a cross slide 304, mounted on a saddle, has spring-actuated locking-means 348, to lock the cross slide with one of the turret tools in line with the lathe axis, and spring-actuated means 325 for locking the turret to the slide, the hand-levers for releasing the locking means being rotatable in planes at right-angles. The construction of the locking- means is shown in Figs. 3 and 5. |
