Description: |
The patent covers the malleable iron frame for circular tufts of brush bristles that are wedged in by a central wedge, or by the wedge-shaped end of an in-line handle. The essential feature is that the opening for the bristles is a series of intersecting circles, with tapered sides.
Produced as a shoe-blacking brush. The handles have survived without their bristles, and the resulting form leads some to image they are a specialty wrench. |
