Description: |
An rocking insert in the face of the movable jaw is connected to an internal link that releases the adjustment. The adjustable depth stop in the shank is to insure the center line of the nut falls over the pivot point of the rocking insert. A spring between the movable jaw and shank tends to close the jaws.
Stockford's Oct. 14, 1884 successor patent (no. 306,439) was produced. |
