Description: |
The wrench combines an adjustable "monkey wrench" with an alligator wrench. The drawings and specifications note optional arrangements. The version with the fixed alligator wrench end was produced.
Versions marked "PAT APPL'D FOR" have the adjustable jaw wrapped entirely around the shank.
Other variants (marked Marshalltown, IA) have the adjustable jaw with a "monkey wrench" adjustment as shown in the patent drawing. Later production (Independence, MO) have the adjustable jaw with an "auto monkey wrench" type adjustment. |
