Description: |
The patent relates to the PERFECT HANDLE series of tools. The patent is cited along with Amos Shepard's Oct. 30, 1900 design patent (Design patent No. D33,468) and Jan. 15, 1901 patent (no. 666,029) on the PERFECT HANDLE monkey wrench. The same three patent dates appear on the RUSSWIN wrench marketed by Russell and Erwin.
Shepard's June 27, 1905 patent no. 793,324 describes the adjusting nut and movable jaw. William S. Thomson's August 8, 1911 forging and dies patent (no. 1,000,050) describes a method for forming the shank and head of the wrench. |
