Description: |
| The base of the movable jaw can be shifted on one of several holding notches in the main shank. A spring pushes the gripping jaw face toward the holding jaw face, making the wrench self-adjusting within the general size range selected.
Corresponding Canadian patent no. CA-36,549 was granted May 5, 1891 and corresponding British patent GB-189107938 was registered May 8, 1891.
