Description: |
The frame for the adjusting nut is a stamping; the spring is at the tail of the frame. The frame and spring are very close to the comparable features in the PERFECT HANDLE pipe wrench (pat. no. 1,122,335). In this patent, the spring is protected by the guide lugs that extend from the shank.
WINCHESTER produced this wrench in wood handle and steel handle versions in the usual range of sizes. "WINCHESTER" appears on both the adjustable jaw and wrench body. |
