Description:
The reissue added a fourth claim which specified the shape of the hook and the end of the hook. Improved, stronger, cant hook with an integral socket hook as the key feature. This is to replace the standard manufacture of utilizing rings driven onto the handle to strengthen it and then driving the pick into the handle separately.

This improved peavey was called the Bangor Rafting Peavey
