Description:
The patent covers the proportionally larger cross-section of the wrench shank adjacent to the fixed jaw, the enclosed movable jaw to protect the threaded shank from grit and dirt, and the "double clutch" connection between the adjusting knurl and the movable jaw.

Wrench examples proposed as representative of this patent have the relative proportions of the upper shank and screw "wrong," and the adjusting nut does not have the "double clutch."
