| The reversible ratchet head has a pair of jaws with the opening adjustable by a ring with spiral cut "teeth" that mesh with teeth on the underside of the jaw segments. A known example has "JONES UNIVERSAL RATCHET // PATENTED MARCH 16 - 09" forged in the handle faces. The ratchet mechanism in the wrench is different than the ratchet mechanism shown in the drawings. |
