Description:
The adjustment mechanism on this quick adjust design is a cam lever binding a geared pinion between a rack on the bar and a "floating" locking plate. The locking plate imparts motion to the pinion tightening the wrench's grip when the locking lever is engaged. The adjustment mechanism is shown employed on three radically different wrench types.
