Description:
The tool consists of two handle segment with pairs of curved toothed jaw faces. One handle segment has a length of chain; the other handle segment a corresponding hook. There is a "spike" on the end of the chain. The tool is depicted in the patent drawings and described in the specifications as a jar wrench, with other potential wrench functions. The "spike" is described as a lid lifter.
