Description:
The adjustment means is rack teeth on the shank of the movable jaw that engage rack teeth in the interior of the handle. The specifications note a rotating cam block to hold the adjustment but its structure is not clear in the drawings.

The main feature of the patent is the auxiliary jaw insert to add an alligator wrench type pipe grip.
