Description:
The manufacturer name is taken from a magnetic chuck; the assignee name is given here as rendered on the patent. The innovation here is an arrangement of the poles of the permanent magnets which provide improved residual magnetism characteristics and also greatly reduces the force required to release the chuck.

Fuji Jikoh, Ltd., is now the Magnet Applied Equipment Division of Hishiko Corp.
