Description: |
| The drawings demonstrate adjustable open end wrenches with the opening at either 45 degrees or 15 degrees to the mid-line of the handle. In the 15 degree angle version, the "tail" of the movable jaw does not extend beyond the frame when the jaw is in the fully open position. The overall form is an evolution from Johansson's patent no. SE-4,066.
The illustration in an August 1914 writeup for BAHCO wrenches shows a wrench corresponding to the 15 degree angle option.
