Description:
The patent describes a combination nut and pipe jaw with a "rapid transit" adjustment mechanism like that described in Campfield's Oct. 11, 1887 patent (no. 371,302). The drawing looks similar to the "WITHDRAWN" Campfield March 13, 1888 patent (no. 379,445).

Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930" identifies the Brown Specialty Manufacturing Company as a producer of wrenches based on these patents.
