Description:
This is a design for a draftsmans' protractor that attaches to a standard T-Square. The inventor here is Samuel Darling of Darling, Browne, and Sharpe fame (precursor to the famous manufacturer of machinist tools, Browne and Sharpe), but it is not known if this tool was ever produced by DB&S.
