Description:
Claim:

The present invention relates to a tool and method for cutting radii on rotating workpieces, the same, thereby, being adapted to cut annular half-round grooves in the peripheries of round members, semispherical concavities, semispherical as well as ball ends on round stock, and other such shapes that are formed by radii cuts.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for accurately measuring the position of the point of the cuter or bit of a radii cutter, thereby greatly facilitating setup.
