Description:
The lever handle connects to the sliding jaw through an adjustable intermediate link. The adjustment is accomplished by a pin in the intermediate frame and a series of holes in the shank of the movable jaw.

The specifications note the jaw faces could be smooth, flat with fine or coarse teeth, or concave with teeth.
