Description:
The adjusting mechanism is inserted in bores in the solid body of the wrench. The mechanism is held in by screw plugs and set screws. The patent notes the bearings for the rotating portions of the adjusting mechanism. The spiral shaft is flat twisted stock.

The patent cites a number of previous patents as references including: 402,132, 461,617, 1,837,341, 2,753,748, 2,795,987, 2,993,398, and 3,000,246.
