Description:
The patent includes the side ribs and the teeth sunk in the face of the shank. It describes the sliding jaw holding the block with gripping teeth, the lever to operate it, and the features designed to keep dirt away from the adjusting mechanism.

The comparable Canadian patent (no. CA-17,806) gives a different name for the third patentee.
