Description:
A deep socket with four internal coil springs arranged to center the spark plug, protect the porcelain from damage, and hold the spark plug firmly for cleaning or handling while hot.

The springs are held by a split ring which fits into a groove in the body of the socket.

Pat. nos. 2,294,193 and 2,304,271 are parallel efforts.
