Description:
The wrench is intended as a draw-pin in a wagon or carriage. So the shank / handle is solid, the threaded shaft for the adjustment depends from the head, and the adjusting nut is close to the top of the movable jaw rather than at the base.

The specifications disclaim features covered by British patent no. 3,709 of 1869.
