Description:
The patent is based on the concept of visually appealing surface and fine serrations on the circumference of a screw head, nut, etc. and corresponding driving socket.

The patent number appears on GULMITE drivers associated with MAYTAG washing machines. The patent was also the basis for a series of "security" or "Crown Head" fasteners with multiple "points" on the circumference and corresponding wrenches, sockets, etc.
