Taft v. Travis
Description:
At the time this patent was issued, the inventor was manufacturing steam engines at Natick with his son, Elwin C. Huntoon. By 1879 they had sold the business to Charles H. Hunt, who relocated it that year to South Boston. This information comes from an 1883 lawsuit both men were involved in, Taft v. Travis (see link).
