Vintage Machinery entry for Lidgerwood Mfg. Co.
Description:
The inventor was a Sorbonne-educated engineer who would later become the president and lead designer of metal-working machinery maker Farnham Mfg. Co. of Buffalo. Dubosclard proved to be a genius and prodigious designer of machinery for manufacturing air-frames and wings, which played an important but now largely forgotten role in the Allied war effort.
