Description:
In 1927 the inventor and his son, Leighton Wilkie, established Continental Machine Specialties Co. of Minneapolis. In 1933 Leighton developed the first practical metal-cutting bandsaw, which was introduced in 1935 by Continental as the DoALL bandsaw.
