Description:
This tool to facilitate removal and replacement of valve access plugs in engines. The lugs extending from the base correspond to recesses in the plugs; the "cubical boss" extending from the top provides bearing surface for a wrench.

Some engine manufacturers supplies wrenches with lugs for this purpose; pat no. 1,371,965 is another approach.
