Description:
Worm and rack adjusted socket wrench with jaws shaped to grip the exterior corners of square and hex nuts, and the interior corners of similar shaped sockets as used on drain plugs, etc.

This is a modification of McDaniel's May 4, 1909 patent no. 920,372, and more closely resembles the "PAT APLD FOR" T-handled adjustable socket wrench than the earlier patent. The example shown in the 2nd image has a "pipe grip" on the adjustable jaw and an angled jaw face on the "fixed jaw."
