Description:
A rack and pawl mechanism in the handle allows a comfortable hand grip through a wide range of jaw opening. The rack teeth and pawl are shaped to allow the handles to open fully, and the pawl has to be slid manually to bring the handles closer together relative to the jaw alignment.

The curved and flat jaw surfaces and wire cutter are noted in the specifications.
